Carta is seeking an Associate, Strategy & Business Operations to join their team in New York. This role involves partnering with product and business leaders to drive Carta’s strategy, identify growth opportunities, and drive innovation. The Associate will work on strategic projects, develop frameworks for market growth, and act as a thought partner to improve business performance.Carta is looking for someone with a learning mindset and experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, corporate strategy, or business operations. Deep understanding of private markets & financial services is required.
Responsibilities: - Drive end-to-end strategic projects
- Develop a strategic framework to identify market growth opportunities
- Accelerate building the Network ERP for Private Capital
- Act as a thought partner to business leaders
Requirements: - A learning mindset
- 2 - 4 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, corporate strategy, or business operations; 2 years of consulting or principal investing experience required
- Deep understanding of private markets & financial services; experience in enterprise software/SaaS, and/or fintech a plus
- Motivated to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment to accelerate Carta’s growth
- Excellent communication skills
- Superior problem-solving, presentation, and modeling skills
