Job Description

Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking a Senior Business Applications Analyst to join their team in San Francisco. In this role, the Analyst will be responsible for driving data catalog adoption and engagement among engineers, following standards established by data literacy and data discovery teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, data governance, and data management.

Role Involves:

• Driving data catalog adoption and engagement among engineers.
• Following standards established by data literacy and data discovery teams.
• Contributing to Data Governance processes and practices.
• Performing data quality analysis and data incident reporting.
• Utilizing data change management processes.
• Organizing work through Agile planning.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Information Systems or related field.
• Three (3) years of experience developing, implementing and maintaining data reports, solutions and dashboards.
• Three (3) years of experience modeling data in SQL and utilizing Tableau reporting tools.
• Experience utilizing data analytics platforms, including data warehouses, data lakes and transactional databases.
• Experience contributing to Data Governance processes and practices.
• Experience utilizing enterprise data catalog tools for data assets management and data documentation.
• Experience performing data quality analysis and data incident reporting.
• Experience utilizing data change management processes.
• Experience organizing work and business deliverables through Agile planning process.
