DRW, a diversified trading firm with over three decades of experience, is seeking a passionate C++ Software Developer to develop new low-latency data processing systems and enhance existing ones. The candidate will work closely with research and trading teams, utilizing cutting-edge low-latency technologies in an environment that fosters success.

The role involves:

• Developing scalable and performant software using software engineering best practices.
• Building and maintaining a low-latency trading system.
• Analyzing and discussing stakeholder requirements.
• Leading discussions on code implementation, testing, and software architecture best practices.
• Leading projects and new initiatives.
• Collaborating with the development team to solve design and coding challenges.
• Evaluating new technologies, tools, frameworks, and software components for integration.

Requirements include:

• Extensive experience in developing high-availability systems in C++ and Java with strict latency constraints.
• Experience with multithreaded programming and a strong understanding of hardware/software interaction.
• Proficiency in performance optimization (applications, Linux, socket I/O, etc.) and troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of C++11/14/17, boost, and STL.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles and best practices.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
• Team-oriented mindset with a passion for problem-solving and strong interpersonal skills.
