Job Description

DV Group is seeking a Night Trader to join their team in either New York or Chicago. The company has grown to over 450 people operating throughout North America and Europe. DV Trading has rapidly scaled as an independent proprietary trading firm utilizing its own capital, trading strategies, and risk management methodologies.

The Night Trader will work alongside senior traders, learn about proprietary methodologies and trading systems, and engage in real-time risk management. The role involves building and maintaining trading models, enhancing existing trades, and identifying new opportunities. The Night Trader will also liaise between the trading group, internal company departments, and OTC relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Work side by side with senior traders
  • Learn about proprietary methodologies and trading systems

  • Liaise between trading group, internal company departments, and OTC relationships

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a trading role
  • A degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering or related field
  • Ability to work night shift
  • Strong work ethic and ability to learn quickly
  • Detail oriented, organized and diligent
  • Strong understanding of math, probability and statistics
  • Proficient with Excel and VBA
  • Proficient with SQL, Python, and statistical modeling
  • Advanced aptitude for problem solving and multitasking

What the Role Offers:

  • Annual compensation range $150K - $200K + discretionary bonus eligibility
