Job Description
ClinChoice is seeking a Senior RWD Data Scientist to join their team and work directly with a single sponsor while benefiting from the stability of a global CRO. This role involves leading the development of analysis specifications, programming, and conducting analyses for Real World Data (RWD) research. The Senior RWD Data Scientist will ensure quality standards and methodological rigor across projects through patient cohort development and key variable validation.

Role Involves:
  • Leading the development of analysis specifications.
  • Developing programs and conducting analyses for RWD research.
  • Providing technical guidance for RWD research.
  • Ensuring quality standards and methodological rigor.
  • Developing patient cohorts and validating key variables.

Requirements:
  • Leadership of RWD analysis strategy and execution.
  • Proficiency in SAS or R & SQL.
  • Experience with healthcare databases: Claims (examples include Optum, MarketScan, Pharmetrics+, HealthVerity, CPRD) Electronic Health Records (examples include IQVIA, Flatiron, Concert AI, TriNetX)
  • Understanding of epidemiology / outcomes research.
  • Experience with study design and execution.
  • Experience with OMOP CDM or similar common data model framework.
  • Knowledge of US/international data sources.
  • Master’s degree in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Data Science, Bioinformatics, or related field with 5-8 years of relevant experience or PhD with 3+ years of experience.
