Maven, a leading proprietary trading firm, is seeking a C# Developer to join its Core Technology team in Chicago. The Core Tech team designs, builds, and runs the core platforms and architecture at Maven, providing essential applications, services, and libraries for the entire business. This role offers the opportunity to create outstanding solutions within a skilled and supportive team, directly impacting trading activities.

What this role involves:

• Designing and developing sound solutions for critical business functions.
• Crafting high-quality code and tests, emphasizing automation.
• Analyzing, capturing, and communicating design decisions.
• Interacting and collaborating with stakeholders, SREs, and Infrastructure engineers.

Requirements:

• Strong analytical and system design skills.
• Excellent C# ability with a strong focus on testing processes.
• Experience with .NET Core, CI/CD, and containerization (Docker and/or Kubernetes).

Nice to have:

• Modern Front-end UI development experience, especially React and TypeScript.
• Event-driven design, DDD, CQRS and/or EventSourcing experience.
