Job Description
LA28 is seeking a Senior Manager, Accommodations – Operations, Systems & Finance. This role is responsible for overseeing the core systems, tools, and financial processes that support LA28’s Accommodations department. The ideal candidate will bring a structured, systems-driven approach and thrive in a high-volume, detail-oriented environment. This role reports to the Head of Accommodations.
Role involves:
- Leading the maintenance, structure, and user management of the Accommodations Management System (AMS).
- Building and operating the Help Desk function tied to AMS, including protocols, response tracking, and training documentation.
- Administering rate-gathering tools and overall data tracking.
- Ensuring integrations and data consistency across platforms, including Finance and other Functional Areas (FAs).
- Managing tracking and data tools for Accommodations team.
- Tracking and reconcile Accommodation Allocation Agreements (AAA) and invoices, working closely with Finance and Legal.
- Gathering, managing, and analyzing hotel rates.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in systems administration, event operations, hotel contracting, or financial reconciliation.
- Strong understanding of hotel operations, contract workflows, and payment processes.
- Hands-on experience with systems such as event management platforms, Smartsheets.
- Ability to manage complex data sets and high-volume reporting requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, Business, Information Systems, Event Management, or related field required.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel required; working knowledge of PowerPoint, Smartsheet, and CRM tools preferred.
