Harbor is seeking a Senior Compensation Specialist to join their Talent Operations Team. In this role, the Senior Compensation Specialist will be responsible for supporting the strategy, design, analysis, and administration of Harbor’s global compensation programs, including base salary, bonus compensation, and incentives. This role ensures regulatory compliance and alignment with business goals. The ideal candidate will be passionate about building a sophisticated and comprehensive HR infrastructure and Total Rewards program in a high-growth entrepreneurial environment.Responsibilities include:
- Managing compensation data and providing data-driven insights.
- Conducting detailed pay gap analyses and providing recommendations.
- Building and maintaining the job architecture.
- Conducting market analysis and establishing salary structures.
- Building, configuring, maintaining, and utilizing compensation software.
- Leading critical compensation processes, including salary reviews and incentive calculations.
- Ensuring compliance with global compensation regulations.
- Creating compensation reports for audits and leadership.
- Assisting with compensation and bonus calculations.
- Ensuring accuracy of compensation information within all systems.
- Collaborating with the global payroll team.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience.
- At least 5 years of hands-on compensation experience.
- Experience building and maintaining a job architecture.
- Knowledge of global compensation policies and practices.
- Experience with HRIS systems and compensation modules/tools.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth, global organization.
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
- Ability to analyze complex data and identify trends.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
