GitLab is seeking a Mid-Market Account Executive to join their team in Germany. This remote role involves managing relationships with prospective and existing customers within the mid-market segment (companies with up to 4000 employees). The Mid-Market Account Executive will work closely with the business development team and sales management to manage a broad book of business and exceed client expectations.
The Account Executive will report to an Area Sales Manager and work with Mid Market prospects, contribute to root cause analyses on wins/losses and communicate lessons learned to the team.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting GitLab for Mid Market prospects.
- Contributing to root cause analyses on wins/losses.
- Communicating lessons learned to the team.
- Taking ownership of your book of business.
- Documenting the buying criteria and process.
- Ensuring pipeline accuracy.
- Contributing to improvements in the sales handbook.
- Providing account leadership in the pre- and post-sales process.
- Contributing product ideas to the public issue tracker.
Requirements:
- Progressive experience with software sales.
- Interest in GitLab and open source software.
- Ability to leverage relationships and sales techniques.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Motivation, drive, and results orientation.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
- Preferred experience with Git, Software Development Tools, Application Lifecycle Management.
