Job Description
Proton is seeking a Senior Head of Sales (SMB) to lead and build a sales strategy from the ground up. The role involves inbound, outbound, and channel sales. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned sales leader comfortable in a hands-on environment, inspiring a team, and engaging in strategic deal-making.
The Senior Head of Sales will drive scalable sales processes, guide team performance, and align efforts to accelerate revenue growth and brand visibility.
Role Involves:
- Building and leading a sales team of SDRs and AEs.
- Developing and implementing SMB sales strategies.
- Taking ownership of sales operations from lead generation to deal closure.
- Tracking and analyzing sales performance metrics.
- Collaborating with Marketing, Customer Support, and Product teams.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of sales experience with B2B sales teams, ideally in SaaS.
- Experience managing the full sales cycle for small deals (€5,000 - €20,000) with SMBs.
- Hands-on leadership with the ability to support team operations directly.
- Deep understanding of target markets and customer behavior.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and sales tools.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
