Job Description

JD Sports is seeking a motivated individual to join their team as a Superviseur de rayon (Department Supervisor). This role involves managing a specific department within the store, such as footwear, textiles, stock, or cashier, with the primary goal of improving its profitability. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a passion for sales and team management.

The Department Supervisor will play a crucial role in ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction. They will work closely with the sales team, delegating tasks, monitoring performance, and fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. The role also involves analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales revenue, item velocity, and average transaction value, and communicating these insights to the team.

The role involves opening and closing the store, managing deliveries, briefing and debriefing the team, planning daily breaks, and handling cash register operations. The supervisor will also be responsible for maintaining the overall presentation of their department, working closely with visual merchandisers to ensure an appealing and organized shopping experience.
