Herself Health is seeking a Primary Care Medical Assistant to provide clinical, clerical, and technical support to physicians and advanced practice clinicians in their Saint Paul clinic. The Medical Assistant will play a vital role in establishing relationships with patients and ensuring they feel supported, heard, and trusted.Role responsibilities include:

• Rooming patients and scheduling appointments.
• Assisting patients with the patient portal.
• Ensuring forms and billing requests are completed.
• Obtaining blood samples via venipuncture.
• Performing data entry in EMR.
• Reviewing medications and preparing refill orders.
• Measuring and recording vital signs.
• Preparing equipment and assisting with exams.
• Cleaning examination rooms.
• Managing phone calls and patient check-in.
• Assisting with chronic disease management.
• Administering injections and medications.
• Transmitting prescription refills.
• Managing inventory and ordering supplies.

Requirements include:

• Concierge-level customer service and work ethic.
• High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be highly organized and detail oriented.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Certification program.
• Training in phlebotomy.
