Job Description
Virtasant is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their team. This role is a client-facing engineering position that requires deep technical expertise and hands-on experience. The Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for building and maintaining cloud infrastructure, automating deployments, and ensuring resilient, scalable environments across multi-cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will be proactive, self-directed, and comfortable communicating directly with stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Building and maintaining infrastructure across AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI, and other CSPs.
- Managing and optimizing Kubernetes clusters and compute environments.
- Implementing and managing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Managing CI/CD pipelines and ensuring seamless deployment automation.
- Collaborating daily with the Virtasant & Client engineering teams to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and implement infrastructure solutions.
- Operating independently to identify technical needs and proactively develop solutions.
- Balancing infrastructure scalability, security, and cost-efficiency.
Requirements:
- AWS experience (must-have)
- Kubernetes expertise
- Strong Terraform skills (non-negotiable)
- CI/CD pipeline management and tooling familiarity
- Multi-cloud experience a plus (AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI)
- Hands-on engineering across cloud infrastructure and automation
- Experience collaborating with client-side stakeholders
- Ability to articulate infrastructure solutions to technical and non-technical audiences
- Comfortable working independently in distributed, remote teams
