Job Description
Ocado Group is seeking a Senior Demand Planner to ensure accurate anticipation and fulfillment of project demands. The Senior Demand Planner will be responsible for the integrity and accuracy of project demand forecasts, which is critical for maintaining operational excellence. The role involves collaboration across teams to translate sales forecasts, business strategies, assumptions, and project timelines into precise material demand plans.

Role involves:
  • Managing MRP data
  • Leading S&OP demand planning processes
  • Resolving planning challenges
  • Continuously improving demand forecast accuracy

Requirements:
  • Extensive knowledge of materials requirement planning (MRP) and inventory management processes
  • Demonstrated experience of S&OP / operational processes and experience with ERP systems
  • Proven ability to lead and influence demand planning strategies and drive the demand and supply alignment process
  • Strong analytical skills, capable of handling large data sets, with a high level of attention to detail
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence decisions & build relationships
  • Supply chain experience, ideally within a demand planning role
