Job Description
Alma is seeking a Customer Care Officer to join their Operations team in Lille, France. Alma's mission is to put finance back in its rightful place: at the service of merchants and consumers. Alma creates financial products that empower merchants to sell more, and help consumers purchase better products while never encouraging them to get over-indebted. The Customer Care Officer will be responsible for providing customer and merchant support, managing debt collection actions, and onboarding new merchants. This role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. The position is based in Lille with a hybrid work policy allowing 2 days of remote work per week. The working hours are from 12:00 to 20:00, Wednesday to Sunday.

Role Involves:
  • Taking charge of requests from consumers and merchants via email and phone.
  • Interacting with internal and external stakeholders to respond to requests.
  • Understanding and anticipating customer needs to improve processes and tools.
  • Participating in the upgrading of newcomers' skills.

Requirements:
  • Good writing skills in French and English.
  • Open and friendly with good communication and empathy.
  • Perseverance in the face of difficulties.
  • Autonomous and resourceful problem-solving skills.
  • Rigorous and organized working style.
  • Demanding and reliable with a commitment to quality.
  • Ideally, a first experience in a similar role.
