Associate - Client Services

Job Description

Interactive Brokers is seeking an Associate to join their Client Services group in Singapore. The Associate will be responsible for liaising with Interactive Brokers’ clients from around the globe, including professional retail clients, advisors, and broker-dealers. The goal is to develop and maintain long-term client relationships through responsive, superior, and high-touch service.

The Associate will handle client inquiries via various channels, familiarize themselves with proprietary platforms, assist clients in understanding the trading cycle, and troubleshoot issues. They will also liaise with various internal parties such as Legal & Compliance, Risk, IT, Cashiering, Clearing and other service groups around the world.

Role involves:

• Handling client inquiries via email, ticket, live chat, and phone call
• Familiarizing with various proprietary platforms
• Assisting clients in understanding the trading cycle
• Troubleshooting with clients and escalating issues

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree
• Minimum 2 years’ experience at a global financial institution (new graduates who demonstrate a strong grasp of the core competencies will also be considered)
• Strong product knowledge – Equities, Options, Futures, FX
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin is a strong plus)
• Preferably licensed with CMFAS 1A , 2A , 6 and 6A or be able to obtain by attending to licensing paper exams within a short period after joining
