Job Description
Verkada is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to develop and enhance user experiences within its ecosystem. The role involves building and optimizing web applications integrated into the core product experience. The ideal candidate will be a web expert open to expanding their skillset into backend technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain user-facing web applications and features.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers.
- Optimize web experiences for seamless integration.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
- Participate in code reviews.
- Stay up-to-date with web development trends.
- Troubleshoot and resolve web-related issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of professional experience in web development.
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Deep understanding of responsive design principles.
- Experience with cross-browser compatibility and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous data handling.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
