The Software Engineer will focus on extending Notion's API for strategic partnerships and use cases. The role involves designing and building scalable, developer-friendly APIs to enhance Notion's connected workspace.
What this role involves:
- Architecting new classes of APIs for partner and customer developers.
- Understanding developer use cases and ensuring API support.
- Improving the usability, performance, reliability, and architecture of external developer APIs.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience as a software engineer building scalable technology.
- Experience working with and mentoring other software engineers.
- Experience building interfaces or tools for external developers.
- Thoughtful problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of business impact and prioritization.
- Empathetic communication skills.
