Bauer: Développeur- Gardien/ Developer– Goalie

Job Description

Bauer Hockey is seeking a Developer-Goalie to join their R&D team. This role involves managing development projects from the briefing process to product commercialization within the goalie category. The Developer-Goalie will report to the Product Development Director – Goalie and collaborate with various departments to ensure product success.

Responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with other departments to develop and implement manufacturing processes and QC guidelines.
• Preparing project status and performance updates.
• Maintaining knowledge of current technology relevant to the product category.
• Serving as a focal point for collaboration with team members.
• Managing the validation process throughout product development.
• Managing documentation to support the tax credit process.
• Tracking and analyzing product costing to meet targets.
• Supporting sourcing activities for new materials and products.
• Performing technical presentations during product camps.
• Traveling to Asia to visit factories and testing sites.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in product development, manufacturing, or project management.
• Experience with composite materials is a plus.
• General knowledge of plastics, textiles, and foams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAD software.
• Strong time and project management skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Bilingual in French and English.
• Ability to travel abroad (5-10% of the time).
