Material Handler - 2nd Shift

Job Description

Cresco Labs is seeking a Material Handler for their Supply Chain team in Joliet, IL. This role involves supplying departments with necessary materials, maintaining accurate inventory, and assisting with shipping and receiving. The Material Handler will also be responsible for shredding plant waste according to regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Providing departments with materials based on work orders.
• Accurately recording weights and tote counts of cannabis products.
• Following FIFO inventory flow.
• Reporting discrepancies in cannabis shipments.
• Assisting in tracking and reporting inventory levels.
• Assisting in receiving goods and stocking shelves.
• Operating lift trucks to move equipment.
• Receiving and handing off shipments.
• Communicating shipment issues.
• Assisting with grow media removal and plant waste disposal.

Requirements:

• 1 year (2-3 years preferable) of hands-on experience in a factory, production or manufacturing fast-paced environment with measurable goals and working standards, preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of organizational skill.
• Deadline driven and detail oriented.
• Commitment to work collaboratively.
• Ability to operate power industrial lift truck.
• Ability to work in cold and hot environments.
• Ability to work around equipment with moving parts and excessive noise.
• Ability to work around plant material.
• Ability to sit, stand, kneel, and/or do repetitive actions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must comply with all legal or company regulations.
