Job Description
Putnam, an Inizio Advisory company, is seeking a Principal, Value Communications to lead the growth of their Value Communications team within the HTA and Market Access division. The Principal will lead the development of Health Technology Assessment (HTA) dossiers for European and International markets. They will partner with life science companies to secure optimal reimbursement by generating impactful health economic evidence and developing persuasive value narratives. The role involves in-depth analysis of disease burden, clinical trial results, patient-reported outcomes, and cost-effectiveness, contributing to every phase of the market access journey. This role collaborates with HEOR, PRO, RWE & Biostats, Strategy Practices, and the wider Inizio business, providing expertise across the full product life cycle.

Responsibilities include:
  • Leading Value Communications projects (HTA dossiers, global value dossiers, value-propositions, SLR’s, TLR’s, manuscripts, value message development).
  • Line-management and mentorship of the value communications team.
  • Contributing to business development.
  • Supporting other HTA and Market Access projects.
  • Client engagement and account management.
  • Leading training and development.
  • Study design, development, and implementation.
  • Leading the development of abstracts and manuscripts.
  • Developing proposals.
  • Managing project budgets.
Requirements:
  • PhD or MSc in life sciences.
  • 7+ years’ experience in value communications, medical writing, medical communications, or market access value communications.
  • Experience in line management.
  • Experience developing reports, dossiers, and peer-reviewed manuscripts.
  • Experience with NICE, GBA, and/or JCA dossiers.
  • Experience of proof-reading, editing, and formatting documents.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, drug development process, clinical trials, and global payer environment.
  • Experience managing projects, including budgets and resource requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster collaboration.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • A can-do approach.
  • Fluency in written and verbal English.
  • Excellent MS Office skills.
