Job Description
Workato is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst (HRIS) to join their team. The ideal candidate will work closely with the internal Business Technology (BT), Payroll, and Human Resources (HR) teams to implement, administer, and optimize Workato's new HRIS platform. This role involves developing sound business processes, identifying automation opportunities, and ensuring seamless integration with the existing technology stack. The focus will include both US payroll administration and assisting in implementing services for international payroll that integrate with the HRIS solution.

Responsibilities include:
  • Co-leading and executing the implementation, configuration, and ongoing administration of the new HRIS platform.
  • Configuring and maintaining US payroll processes within the HRIS system.
  • Implementing and integrating international payroll services with the HRIS platform.
  • Analyzing current HR and payroll processes to identify opportunities for automation.
  • Building, testing, and deploying internal applications, workflows, and integrations.
  • Serving as the primary liaison between HR, global Payroll teams, and Business Technology.
  • Documenting processes, configurations, and integrations.
  • Creating comprehensive reporting and analytics capabilities for global payroll and HR metrics.
  • Maintaining and continuously improving the global HR and payroll data ecosystem.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business IT, Information Systems Management, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5-7 years of business systems experience with at least 2-3 years focused on HRIS platforms (Workday experience strongly preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of US payroll processing, tax regulations, and compliance requirements in an HRIS environment.
  • Experience implementing and integrating international payroll services with HRIS platforms.
  • Understanding of global payroll requirements and how they integrate with core HRIS functions.
  • Experience with full lifecycle HRIS implementations with emphasis on payroll module configuration.
  • Demonstrated experience in HR and payroll process improvement and workflow automation across multiple countries.
