Smartsheet is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to join their Select Accounts team. The Account Executive will be responsible for increasing software sales and driving expansion across a large territory of Global 2000 Accounts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of exceeding quota with tenacity, a great attitude, accountability, high energy, integrity, and discipline.Role involves:
- Exceeding quarterly and annual sales software and services sales quotas.
- Proactively managing a large number of early-stage accounts.
- Developing new business sales opportunities.
- Executing a complex, high-value solution-based sales process.
- Articulating and demonstrating Smartsheet's unique business value.
- Leading ongoing engagement with customer executives and Smartsheet leadership.
- Building a territory plan that results in sales expansion.
- Determining account strategies in partnership with Solutions Engineers and Customer Success Representatives.
- Developing unsolicited proposals that align with customer initiatives.
- Accurately forecasting sales opportunities.
- Tracking all relevant sales activity using the CRM platform.
Requirements:
- Enterprise sales success with a track record of exceeding quotas.
- Experience selling enterprise software, ideally SaaS solutions.
- Proven new business selling skills.
- Experience managing a large and diverse pipeline of sales opportunities.
- Outstanding time management skills.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth company.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
