Job Description
Smartsheet is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to join their Select Accounts team. The Account Executive will be responsible for increasing software sales and driving expansion across a large territory of Global 2000 Accounts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of exceeding quota with tenacity, a great attitude, accountability, high energy, integrity, and discipline.Role involves:
  • Exceeding quarterly and annual sales software and services sales quotas.
  • Proactively managing a large number of early-stage accounts.
  • Developing new business sales opportunities.
  • Executing a complex, high-value solution-based sales process.
  • Articulating and demonstrating Smartsheet's unique business value.
  • Leading ongoing engagement with customer executives and Smartsheet leadership.
  • Building a territory plan that results in sales expansion.
  • Determining account strategies in partnership with Solutions Engineers and Customer Success Representatives.
  • Developing unsolicited proposals that align with customer initiatives.
  • Accurately forecasting sales opportunities.
  • Tracking all relevant sales activity using the CRM platform.
Requirements:
  • Enterprise sales success with a track record of exceeding quotas.
  • Experience selling enterprise software, ideally SaaS solutions.
  • Proven new business selling skills.
  • Experience managing a large and diverse pipeline of sales opportunities.
  • Outstanding time management skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth company.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
