Job Description
Axon is seeking a Business Analyst to join their Software Implementations team in Scottsdale, Arizona. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of public safety technology by collaborating with law enforcement agencies and public safety organizations. The Business Analyst will help these organizations leverage Axon's cutting-edge software solutions to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to transform complex challenges into actionable solutions, ensuring clients realize the full potential of Axon’s innovative technologies.
What This Role Involves:
- Capture and translate customer needs into clear and concise business process documentation.
- Analyze complex business challenges and provide clarity and structure where ambiguity exists.
- Partner with customers to configure software systems tailored to their business objectives.
- Assess feasibility, impact, and cost of proposed solutions.
- Design, administer, and document functional acceptance tests to validate software performance and usability.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training plans and materials.
- Collaborate across departments to drive company-wide initiatives.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in business analysis, project management, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and drive process improvements.
- Experience gathering requirements, optimizing workflows, and facilitating change management within teams.
- Familiarity with software configurations and coding experience (particularly JSON) preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated experience leading initiatives and working cross-functionally to achieve shared goals.
- A proactive, solution-oriented thinker who thrives in ambiguity and can break down complex problems.

- Must pass a Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) background check and maintain confidential and highly sensitive information.
