Job Description
Axon is seeking a Business Analyst to join their Software Implementations team. This role is based in Sterling, Virginia, and involves collaborating with law enforcement agencies and public safety organizations to implement software solutions. The Business Analyst will work with cross-functional teams to translate complex challenges into actionable solutions, ensuring clients realize the full potential of Axon’s technologies. The position reports to the Manager of Business Analysis.
Role involves:
- Capturing and translating customer needs into business process documentation.
- Analyzing complex business challenges and providing clarity.
- Configuring software systems tailored to business objectives.
- Assessing the feasibility, impact, and cost of proposed solutions.
- Designing and administering user acceptance tests.
- Developing and delivering training plans and materials.
- Collaborating across departments to drive company-wide initiatives.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in business analysis, project management, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Experience gathering requirements and optimizing workflows.
- Familiarity with software configurations and coding experience (JSON preferred).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience leading initiatives and working cross-functionally.
- Must pass a Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) background check.
