Expert Systems Engineer (Azure Admin)

Job Description

Altera, a member of the N. Harris Computer Corporation family, is seeking an Expert Systems Engineer (Azure Admin) to join their team in Bengaluru. This role involves managing Azure infrastructure, leading issue resolution, mentoring team members, and driving continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Azure Infrastructure Management and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

Responsibilities:

• Provision and maintain Azure IaaS/PaaS environment
• Manage client and project issues, leading them to closure
• Function as an escalation point and mentor team members
• Assist management in organizing, planning, and implementing strategies
• Ensure compliance to timescales and effective client relationship management
• Drive continuous automation and improvement in SOPs

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 7+ years of total experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Infrastructure Management (VMs, Networking, Storage)
• Expertise in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) – cluster setup, scaling, networking, and security
• Solid understanding of PaaS services
• Understanding of containerization (Docker)
• Hands on experience on working with Windows Platform
• Experience in supporting Cloud infra (Azure) is required
• Must have ‘Infrastructure as a Code’ and CI/CD pipeline experience
• Must have working experience Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) Management and PaaS Services
• Served in lead role for minimum 2 years for implementation/Project team
