Senior Business Intelligence Consultant

Job Description

Harbor is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Consultant to join their Business Intelligence and Microsoft Application services team. The consultant will focus on integrating information using Microsoft tools like Fabric, Azure, Power Platform, and Logic Apps, working with data from practice management systems, document management systems, and external data providers. The role involves collaborating with internal resources and clients to prioritize and deliver solutions.

The role involves:

• Collaborating with clients to gather and analyze business requirements.
• Designing and developing data models, reports, and dashboards using Microsoft BI tools.
• Implementing data integration and ETL processes.
• Providing training and support to clients on BI tools and solutions.
• Ensuring data quality and integrity in all BI solutions.
• Communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Assisting clients with production issues.
• Reconciling data across various systems.

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or related field.
• Understanding of the implementation process.
• Strong analytical and numerical reasoning skills.
• Effective communication and storytelling skills.
• Excels in a cooperative team environment.
• Knowledge of Python (desirable).
• Knowledge of Data Lakes & medallion architecture.
• Experience of data engineering using Microsoft Fabric or Databricks
• Experience of MS Azure Platform
• Proficiency in Microsoft BI tools (Fabric Power BI, SSRS, SSAS, SSIS).
• Advanced knowledge of SQL.
• Advanced computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).
