Job Description
GROPYUS, a company focused on modular construction for sustainable and affordable housing, is seeking a motivated intern to join their Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME) / Prototype Manufacturing Center (PMC) team. This role offers the opportunity to actively support the qualification of a new automated production line and assist in the planning, creation, testing, and evaluation of prototypes. The intern will gain valuable insights into a modern production environment and collaborate with various departments within the company.
The role involves:
- Supporting the AME team in qualifying the new automated production line.
- Maintaining and creating informative acceptance reports.
- Actively participating in the design, documentation, and optimization of processes.
- Assisting the PMC in planning sampling and test setups.
- Designing sample parts and prototypes using CAD.
- Transferring test parts for specific test stand conditions.
- Documenting, evaluating, communicating, and discussing results, and identifying optimization potential.
Requirements:
- Enrolled in a higher education program in Engineering, Wood Technology, Production Technology, or a related field.
- Practical orientation and enthusiasm for working in a broad field, from design to testing to construction site phases, including documentation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams.
- Experience with SharePoint, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English.
