Job Description

BTIG is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Special Events Associate/Vice President to support their virtual and in-person event marketing efforts. This role involves close interaction with individuals at all levels within BTIG to ensure the seamless planning and coordination of various events.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing event logistics, maintaining budgets, and providing stakeholders with timely updates. They will also coordinate with the Corporate Communications team to ensure consistent BTIG branding across all event materials.

This position requires a strong customer service orientation, excellent time management skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and managing planning and logistics for in-person and virtual events.
  • Managing the calendar of upcoming events and event budgets.
  • Providing stakeholders with timelines, feedback, and status updates.
  • Preparing and facilitating written logistical specifications and contracts with venues.
  • Coordinating with Corporate Communications for BTIG branding.
  • Providing post-event wrap-ups and budget reconciliation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 3-5 years of experience in event planning logistics and meeting scheduling.
  • Superior attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong work ethic and high standards of excellence.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to build internal and external relationships.
