Job Description
ConnectWise is seeking an Account Executive to expand its partner base and sell new software solutions. The Account Executive will work with the sales team to manage the sales cycle from beginning to end, attracting new business and providing support to cross-functional teams with high attention to detail. The Account Executive will be responsible for acquiring new partners, expanding the partner base, and selling new software solutions. This role works in partnership with the broader Sales team to manage the sales cycle, open to close, and attracting new business.
Role involves:
- Providing support to cross-functional teams
- Researching, analyzing, and documenting findings
- Achieving personal annual sales growth contract value
- Prospecting new accounts through cold calling and email communication
- Closing sales that meet ConnectWise standards
- Qualifying prospective or existing accounts to build and maintain a pipeline
- Negotiating contract opportunity terms, discounts, and implementation
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent business experience
- 6+ years of relevant experience
- Ability to manage large projects and processes independently
- Recognized subject matter expert of applicable work area
- Ability to adapt to new technology/processes
- Comfortable with prolonged phone use
- Knowledge of Managed Service Provider (MSP), Technology Service Provider (TSP), and Security industry
- Ability to identify opportunities and leverage resources appropriately
