Job Description

Precision Medicine Group is seeking a Biorepository Technician I to assist in the shipment, receipt, retrieval, and preservation of biological samples. The technician will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of the biorepository and ensuring the accurate tracking of specimens.Role involves:

• Monitoring freezers and responding to alarms.
• Receiving and unpacking biological samples.
• Recording pertinent information and storing samples appropriately.
• Managing inventory of frozen biological samples.
• Retrieving and shipping frozen samples.
• Completing necessary paperwork.
• Labeling vials and shipping boxes.
• Performing dry shipper QC.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of general working experience.
• Good attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with Excel.
• Ability to lift and carry between 31-50 lbs.
• Fluency in English.
