Job Description
Jumia is seeking a Key Account Manager to oversee customer experience and growth for key vendors. The Key Account Manager will be responsible for assortment, promotions, and vendor management, working with commercial operations, vendor experience, and marketing teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring continuous business growth through pricing and promotion strategies.
  • Managing stock availability and coordinating with teams.
  • Analyzing sales performance and implementing strategies to increase Net Margin Position (NMP) & Gross Merchandise Volume (GMV).
  • Acquiring customers through value offerings and sales campaigns.
  • Creating and presenting strategic insights for the business unit.
  • Analyzing post-promotion performance.
  • Defining and optimizing curation/assortment selection strategy.
  • Supporting product and content creation.
  • Planning and maintaining stock availability.
  • Identifying trends and filling category gaps.
  • Building weekly marketing plans.
  • Evaluating performance and optimizing marketing, pricing, and product selection.

Requirements:
  • Ability to prioritize key accounts.
  • Process Improvement Management skills.
  • Good understanding of P&L and Cash-Flow Management.
  • Skilled negotiation & Value-based selling abilities.
  • Experience negotiating bulk discounts, MOQs & Credit Terms.
  • Experience building partnerships with strategic OEMs.
  • Owner mentality and an entrepreneurial drive.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Good verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and targets under pressure.
