Job Description
Google DeepMind is seeking a Talent Management Lead to drive its talent agenda and manage a team responsible for designing and delivering organization-wide talent & performance management practices. This is a 12-month fixed term contract role, with an ideal start date of August 2025. The role involves talent planning, promotion, evaluation, and empowering senior leaders.
The Talent & Performance Lead will partner with the global P&C team, wider Google partners, and senior leaders to understand current and future talent needs. They will lead a team responsible for core global cyclical people processes and report to the Global Talent Director.
Role Involves:
- Building upon and implementing talent management strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Designing and enhancing executive talent management and performance management frameworks.
- Collaborating across P&C, with Google counterparts, and senior leaders to assess talent needs.
- Leading and empowering a team to advance talent and performance goals.
- Leveraging data and analytics to assess the impact of talent initiatives.
- Driving change management efforts related to talent initiatives.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in talent management, organizational development, or HR.
- Strategic mindset with a track record of aligning talent programs to broader business goals.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Data-driven approach to talent management.
- Ability to navigate organizational complexity effectively.
- Previous management experience with a passion for coaching and developing individuals.
