Job Description
BitGo is seeking an IT Specialist to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of its staff's IT experience. The IT Specialist will be responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and managing the company's software, hardware, and networks, while providing support to a global team of employees and contractors. Resourcefulness and excellent communication skills are essential for this role.Responsibilities include:
- Installing and configuring software and hardware
- Managing IT help desk and technology tools
- Provisioning accounts and configuring & deploying workstations
- Monitoring performance and maintaining systems
- Troubleshooting issues and outages
- Ensuring security policies are followed
- Upgrading systems with new releases and models
- Developing expertise to train staff on new technologies
- Maintaining technical documentation
- Following change management processes
- Maintaining asset inventory
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an IT Specialist or similar role
- Experience with endpoint deployment, networks, and patch management
- Knowledge of system security
- Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms (Google Workspace, Slack, JAMF, MacOS, Ubuntu)
- Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to analyze and prioritize requests
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Self-motivated and research-driven
- Availability for off-hours urgent requests and weekly IT meetings
