Job Description

Lightspeed is seeking a User Experience Research Operations team member for a 12-month contract. This role is crucial for implementing the research strategy and scaling research processes to build a modern UX research program. The candidate will report to the User Experience Research Management and collaborate with design and product leadership to develop strategies and optimize systems.

Role Involves:

  • Leading the strategy and execution of research initiatives.
  • Equipping the research team with necessary tools and training.
  • Developing scalable programs to enhance research operations.
  • Fostering operational excellence by identifying and implementing workflow improvements.
  • Optimizing research tools and platforms.
  • Documenting best practices and creating scalable process documents.
  • Defining success metrics for research impact.
  • Shaping team culture and growth.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in UX research or related fields.
  • Deep understanding of how research, product, and design teams collaborate.
  • Experience implementing multi-platform research programs.
  • Ability to interpret data and use insights to inform decisions.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Expertise in research tools and platforms like Dovetail, UserTesting, and Jira.
