Job Description

Lightspeed is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join their Sales Orders team in Montreal. The ideal candidate will define the vision for a seamless sales order experience, transforming complex workflows into user-friendly interfaces. This role involves collaborating with engineers and product managers to create exceptional customer experiences.

What this role involves:

  • Leading high-level project work from a design perspective.
  • Leveraging UX expertise and understanding of design systems.
  • Turning nebulous concepts into specific, useful product features.
  • Designing holistic systems, flows, and interfaces.
  • Drawing insights from research and data to create tangible solutions.
  • Building relationships and advocating for the user.
  • Overseeing UX from conception to launch.
  • Being a positive role model and advocate for design within Lightspeed.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of in-house product, UX/UI design experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience with e-commerce or B2B brands.
  • Applied experience with service design practices.
  • Strong aesthetic and conceptual skills.
  • Excellent communication and visualization skills.
  • Understanding of design systems, prototyping, and user research methodologies.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Google Suite, and JIRA.
