Job Description

Lightspeed is seeking a Staff UX Research Operations professional for a 12-month fixed-term contract in Ottawa, Canada. This role is pivotal in shaping and executing the vision for research operations globally, ensuring alignment with the goal of creating a best-in-class UXR program. The Staff UX Research Operations will report to the Director of UXR Research and collaborate closely with Design and Product Leadership to optimize systems and create scalable, innovative research operations.Responsibilities include:

• Leading strategy and execution of research operations.
• Empowering the research team with necessary tools and training.
• Building scalable programs to enhance research operations.
• Driving operational excellence within research workflows.
• Optimizing research tools and platforms.
• Documenting best practices and processes.
• Defining success and impact measurements for research.
• Shaping a positive and inclusive team culture.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of industry experience in UX Research or related fields.
• Deep understanding of collaboration between research, product, and design teams.
• Hands-on experience implementing cross-platform research programs.
• Ability to interpret data and use insights to inform decisions.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Expertise in research tools and platforms.
