Job Description
BEAM is seeking a Manager for High School STEM Enrichment to directly impact the lives of low-income/underserved high school students. This role involves leading and inspiring students to explore STEM, managing enrichment programs, and coordinating field trips and workshops. The Manager will oversee a team supporting students in developing skills for STEM degrees.
Role Involves:
- Recruiting high school students and maintaining engagement.
- Managing Saturday and/or after-school math enrichment programs.
- Coordinating field trips and establishing external partnerships.
- Contributing to the creation of workshops.
- Summer camp leadership.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional work experience.
- 2+ years teaching math or STEM to 6-12th graders or undergraduate students.
- Experience designing STEM or academics-based programs and curriculum.
- At least 2 years managing a team or program.
- Coaching experience.
- Experience working with low-income communities.
