Job Description
TransferGo is seeking a Risk Manager to strengthen its risk culture and support growth. The Risk Manager will report to the Senior Risk Manager and play a crucial role in shaping and embedding a strong risk culture across the organization. TransferGo is a growing fintech scale-up on a mission to make the world a fairer place for migrants.
Role Involves:
- Supporting the implementation of the Enterprise Risk Framework.
- Ensuring third-party and critical service risk management complies with policies and regulations.
- Maintaining the company's risk register.
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring risk mitigation plans and controls.
- Utilizing data analysis to identify and assess risks.
- Assisting in evaluating risks associated with business activities.
- Supporting the development of an Operational Resilience Risk framework.
- Aiding in the identification and management of ICT risks.
- Contributing to the enhancement of enterprise risk frameworks.
- Taking on additional responsibilities as delegated.
- Engaging and collaborating with stakeholders.
- Supporting external communications and reporting to regulators.
- Promoting a culture of risk and resilience awareness.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of risk management experience in the financial sector.
- Solid grasp of digital product offerings and associated risks.
- Exposure to operational resilience or ICT risk management within Financial Services.
- Knowledge of the financial services industry and relevant regulations.
- Proven ability to develop risk management strategies.
- Understanding of ICT risk categories and mitigation approaches.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Capacity to excel in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to establish ambitious goals.
