Job Description
Betsson Group is seeking a hands-on Senior Engineer to lead the Gaming Area team in Malta. This role focuses on enhancing game play and discovery across all Betsson's brands and markets. The Gaming Area is central to the company's strategy, supporting all gaming sites. The successful candidate will help prepare the platform for containerization, improve system scalability, and maintain high quality.
Role involves:
- People management, including motivation, recruiting, and performance reviews.
- Close communication with POs, Architects, and stakeholders.
- Product development to meet business needs.
- Proactive solution development and process improvements.
- Participating in application architecture design and code review.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of backend software development experience.
- 1+ year of team management or Scrum Master experience.
- 3+ years of experience with Agile/Scrum.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent knowledge of C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, and API integrations.
