Job Description
Roofstock is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join its Data Science and Analytics team. The ideal candidate will support reporting and analytics projects across the business, working closely with cross-functional teams to provide insights and data-driven decisions. Roofstock's mission is to make real estate investing radically accessible, cost-effective, and simple.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement and operationalize KPIs to guide the team
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and develop datasets, reports, dashboards, and visualizations
  • Champion a data culture across the company, supporting self-service analytics
  • Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify opportunities and drive decision making
  • Communicate complex and technical concepts to non-technical audiences

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in an analytical role
  • Proficiency in SQL
  • Experience with a Business Intelligence tool such as Sigma, PowerBI, Tableau, etc
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL tools such as Snowflake and DBT
  • Proven track record of using data to drive business decisions
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
