Senior Software Development Engineer in Test

Job Description

PlayStation is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test to join their team in Dublin, Ireland. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting development work in AI/ML in Graphics, improving test efficiency, and ensuring code quality. This role involves working with multiple teams globally and learning about PlayStation's tools and systems.

Role Involves:

• Supporting development work in AI/ML in Graphics.
• Creating scripts and tools (Python or similar) to improve test efficiency and effectiveness.
• Supporting code quality, static analysis, continuous integration, and bespoke test frameworks.
• Working with multiple teams and communicating with teams worldwide.
• Learning about PlayStation tools, systems, and products.

Requirements:

• Demonstrable Python programming skills to a good standard.
• A software development related degree (e.g., software engineering, computer science).
• Good team working and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and be a self-starter.
• Experience working on Linux systems.
• Familiarity with different image formats.
• Image processing experience.
• Machine Learning / AI experience/understanding.
