Job Description
Adyen is seeking a driven and strategic Sales Development Representative to join their team in Toronto. Adyen is a financial technology platform that provides payments, data, and financial products in a single solution for global customers. The ideal candidate will be on the front lines of Adyen’s growth in North America, driving new business opportunities and developing skills for future leadership roles.

What this role involves:
  • Generating qualified leads through strategic outbound and inbound campaigns.
  • Being the first point of contact for prospects, shaping their initial impression of Adyen.
  • Setting up high-quality sales meetings and moving prospects through the sales funnel.
  • Partnering with Sales, Marketing, and Partnerships to optimize go-to-market strategies.
  • Researching target markets and accounts to uncover key decision-makers and business opportunities.
  • Sharing insights on trends and needs in the payments and fintech space.
  • Representing Adyen at industry events and customer meetings.
  • Developing deep expertise in Adyen’s solutions and the payments landscape.

Requirements:
  • 3–5 years of experience in a customer-facing role, with 1–2 years in sales or business development at a B2B or tech company.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.
  • Creative and curious communication skills to engage with stakeholders.
  • Eagerness to learn, grow, and carve a path within a global organization.
  • Natural connector who loves building relationships and working collaboratively.
  • Experience with tools like Salesforce, Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Aircall.
  • Full professional proficiency in English (verbal and written). French is a plus.
