Job Description
OffSec, founded by the creators of Kali Linux, is seeking an Account Executive to drive sales of its cybersecurity training platform within the US Federal Department of Defense and Intelligence Agencies (DoD/IC). The Account Executive will develop and execute a territory plan, manage accounts, and understand government contracting processes.This role involves:
- Demonstrating account management and planning skills
- Understanding customer requirements and proposing solutions
- Understanding US Federal Government's Contracting/Procurement processes
- Generating quotes and supporting formal proposals
- Providing demos of the OffSec training platform
- Forecasting and pipeline management
- Following up on leads and generating prospects
- Understanding the competitive landscape
- Traveling when required
- Working with OffSec Distribution and Channel partners
Requirements include:
- 3+ years of experience selling into the U.S. Federal Government DoD/IC Community
- Proven results in similar roles
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Experience managing long sales cycles and complex deals
- Experience managing large accounts and maintaining long-term relationships
- Background in education, business, or related fields (advantageous)
- Established connections within the DoD/IC sector
- Background selling through/to FSI’s, Primes/Subs (a plus)
- Background selling Cybersecurity training (a plus)
- Familiarity with DoD 8570/8140, PCTE, U.S. Cyber Command, and DCWF (a plus)
