Ebury, a leading global fintech company, is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team in Hong Kong. This role focuses on building partnerships within the Shipping/Maritime industry, selling Ebury's FX Products and Payment Solutions. The Partnerships team is crucial for the growth of the indirect sales business unit.Ebury is looking for someone to develop a network of intermediaries, understand client needs, and present appropriate solutions. The ideal candidate will become an expert in the FX world and contribute to the company's success.
Responsibilities: - Identify and generate new business opportunities.
- Lead demand generation and campaigns.
- Engage in all steps of the Sales Cycle.
Requirements: - 5+ years of sales or client-facing experience in the maritime/shipping industry.
- Experience in selling to clients in the maritime industry.
- Strong commercial understanding of the shipping industry.
- Business fluent in English and Mandarin; Cantonese is a plus.
- Client acquisition ("hunter") mindset.
- Interest in financial markets.
- Excellent communication and social skills.
