Suitability Analyst

Job Description

Global Atlantic Financial Group is seeking a Suitability Analyst to join their Compliance Individual Markets Team. The Analyst will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing annuity application submissions from a suitability perspective, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws and regulations. This role reports to the Assistant Vice President / Manager of the Suitability Team.Responsibilities:

• Make sound suitability decisions in accordance with regulations and company standards.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies and procedures.
• Identify whether annuity applications are approved, not-in-good-order, or declined.
• Communicate suitability requirements with business partners.
• Understand business requirements and identify resolutions.
• Maintain knowledge of fixed/indexed annuity products and processing requirements.
• Assist with Third Party suitability oversight program.

Requirements:

• Undergraduate Degree
• 0-3 years of direct suitability experience
• 3-5 years of annuity experience
• FINRA Series 7 and 24 preferred
• Proven experience working in fast-paced environments
• Motivated Team player
• Analytical skill set
• Excellent relationship development and collaboration skills
• Strategic thinker
