Allworth Financial, an independent investment financial advisory firm, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their growing team. This role is based in their Folsom, CA office and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the firm's continued success.Responsibilities include:
- Managing month-end close processes in accordance with GAAP
- Performing account reconciliations and journal entries
- Supporting the accounts payable and receivable teams
- Ensuring adherence to GAAP pronouncements
- Assisting with annual audits and ad hoc projects
- Contributing to the development and improvement of procedures and internal controls
- Assisting with the accounting aspect of integrating newly acquired firms
Requirements include:
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance
- Minimum of three years accounting and/or audit experience
- CPA or pursuing a CPA certification - preferred
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage priorities
- Good judgment and decision-making skills
- Versatility and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
