Job Description
Allworth Financial, an independent investment financial advisory firm, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their growing team. This role is based in their Folsom, CA office and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the firm's continued success.Responsibilities include:
  • Managing month-end close processes in accordance with GAAP
  • Performing account reconciliations and journal entries
  • Supporting the accounts payable and receivable teams
  • Ensuring adherence to GAAP pronouncements
  • Assisting with annual audits and ad hoc projects
  • Contributing to the development and improvement of procedures and internal controls
  • Assisting with the accounting aspect of integrating newly acquired firms
Requirements include:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance
  • Minimum of three years accounting and/or audit experience
  • CPA or pursuing a CPA certification - preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage priorities
  • Good judgment and decision-making skills
  • Versatility and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
