Technical Curriculum Developer

Job Description

ClickHouse is seeking a Technical Curriculum Developer to join their Learning Team. The company is a leading open-source column-oriented database system provider. The Technical Curriculum Developer will be responsible for developing and delivering training content for ClickHouse, including on-demand courses, instructor-led training, and certification exams. This role involves collaboration with the Engineering and Product teams to design new training courses, creating high-quality on-demand content for the ClickHouse Academy, and teaching courses virtually and in-person.

The role involves:

• Developing ClickHouse training courses for on-demand and instructor-led delivery.
• Designing new training courses for various personas and users of ClickHouse.
• Producing high-quality on-demand training content for the ClickHouse Academy.
• Teaching ClickHouse courses virtually and in-person.
• Helping write and deploy certification exams for the ClickHouse Certification program.
• Establishing a community presence using social media and delivering training at conferences.
• Traveling to Meetups, conferences, and customer sites to deliver training and promote ClickHouse.

Requirements:

• A self-motivated attitude.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and effectively.
• Proven experience developing curriculum for a technical audience.
• Proven experience and ability to teach to audiences of all different sizes and backgrounds.
• Experience with SQL.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Technical breadth and depth in relevant subjects.
• High level of responsibility, ownership, and accountability.
