Khan Academy is seeking a Data Analyst to join their Districts team. The Data Analyst will enable data-driven decisions, focusing on business intelligence, custom reporting & analytics, and data management. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and a passion for clean and actionable data.

Role involves:

• Designing, building, and maintaining dashboards and reports in Looker.
• Providing actionable insights and recommendations.
• Partnering with stakeholders to understand data needs.
• Building ad hoc queries and custom reporting.
• Translating complex data into presentations.
• Ensuring data accuracy and security.
• Collaborating with operations & engineering teams.
• Adhering to data governance policies.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with large datasets.
• Expertise with data models for BI tools (e.g., Looker).
• Familiarity with data management tools and practices.
• Strong analytical mindset.
