iFood, a leading Brazilian technology company in Latin America, is seeking a Senior Data Scientist. The company connects thousands of restaurants to millions of consumers daily through innovative solutions. iFood's services extend beyond food delivery to include markets, pharmacies, pet stores, and financial services like iFood Pago.

The Senior Data Scientist will be part of a team that utilizes cutting-edge technology and constant innovation.

Role Involves:

• Transforming data using PySpark, performing analyses and correlations with user behaviors.
• Orchestrating Extraction, Transformation, and Load (ETLs) activities with Airflow.
• Deploying models and services using Flask-API, Fast-API, or other Python webservice frameworks.
• Developing hypotheses and working with recommendation techniques to serve services for restaurants, markets, pharmacies, beverage, and pet shops on the iFood homepage.
• Contributing to the effective implementation of recommendations, aligning with the team's strategic objectives.

Requirements:

• Experience with machine learning model development.
• Solid knowledge in software engineering, with good development practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Sagemaker (AWS), Databricks, Airflow, and PySpark.
• Ability to organize ideas and good interpersonal skills.
